“ I had the most delicious blueberry latte drink here (see photo!) so my recent visit confirmed Inkling is consistent with serving uniquely tasty beverages! I absolutely love the decor here too. Lots of furniture and space to spread out and work. There are high ceilings. It has a University atmosphere. [A suggestion to management: please make sure the chalkboard descriptions of your seasonal beverages have all the main ingredients. I asked the staff at the counter about a fruit and honey one and they responded with "fruit" and "honey". It was like a comedic skit. I repeated, "It's just fruit and honey?" Then they said, "Oh, and espresso!" I was stunned they almost left that out (and that it was left off the menu) because I would have thought that was a fruity tea drink and would have been very surprised! Haha] ”

“ I had Honey Cardamon Latte. It was fragrant and pleasant. It was pretty crowded on a weekend afternoon with a wait time of up to 20 mins. However we had time and the latte didn't disappoint so no complaints there :) ”

“ Absolutely loved my experience here. My boyfriend and I had originally planned on going to the Starbucks but noticed Inklings had just opened; "why not" we thought! To say I'm glad with our choice in an understatement. The atmosphere is very quiet, cozy, and inviting. Staff greeted us with a warm welcome and promptly took our order. We both ordered 2 drinks, 1 breakfast sandwich, and 1 pastry each. Price wasn't too bad, I think it was just expensive due to it being a large order. Everything came out pretty quick considering the quality of the food and drinks. As much as I love Starbucks you could tell the staff really care about what they're sending out to customers, instead of prioritizing wait time and sacrificing quality. I will definitely be coming back to treat myself to their delicious coffee and snacks! ”

“ Love the vibes of this place! It totally gives local small town quaint cafe vibes, it adds character to downtown Pleasanton. I came on a Monday afternoon and most of the tables were taken FYI, so beware that it could get a little busy even on a work day, for anyone hoping to study/work inside. I appreciate the food options they have here. They have some delicious looking pastries, and even have the basics like some Greek yogurt and snack type foods. I really liked the breakfast sandwich I got - avocado poblano spread with egg and arugula. I got the cookie butter latte, which is pretty good! It didn't taste much like cookie butter though? Not quite sure what the technique is to extract more of that cookie butter flavor, but I have had cookie butter drinks from other cafes that were more flavorful, so it know it's somehow possible. Although I may not get that particular drink again, I think their coffee is still good. Service here is great too. ”

“ ATOPIC FOODIES, OUR MUFFINS HAVE ARRIVED! I don't know who this Sweet Freedom baker is, but she/he deserves a lifetime of delicious food and great health because that's what they're putting out into the universe for people like me. I checked the website, and the flour being used doesn't contain oat either. Best of all, these muffins are delicious. They're moist and spongy, unlike most GF/egg-free muffins. Now that Inklings carries these, I will be a regular. The hardest part about looking for a cafe while atopic is finding a coffee shop with non-dairy options outside of oat and nut-based milks (common allergies) and with snacks that are allergen-free. Inklings is now the unicorn of coffee shops with incredible decor and plethora electrical outlets to boot. ”

“ Ambiance was so cute! They have a room in the back for those that want to do a work day! Coffee and food were delicious too! I ordered the homemade vanilla syrup in my latte and it was amazing! I loved that they make homemade syrups! We ordered the avocado egg bacon sandwich! The sauce they used in this was really delicious. ”
